The Director

Michelle Roueche' is enjoying her eighth year as Director of Music at Brenau University. Equally adept at the keyboard or the conductors podium, she directs the Brenau Chamber Choir, the Lanier Chamber Singers, and teaches conducting courses, diction, voice, and accompanying. Dr. Roueche' has accompanied professionally since the age of twelve and holds music degrees from Texas Tech University, the University of Illinois, and Arizona State University.

Highly in demand as an adjudicator, clinician, and choral arranger, Dr. Roueche' is published by Choral Web Publishing, Inc. Her compositions have been featured at several ACDA conventions, GMEA, and the Southeastern ACDA Womens Choral festival. She has performed in Carnegie Hall under the baton of Robert Shaw, and also appeared as an Artist-in-Residence at North Carolina State University. Prior to her work at Brenau University, Dr. Roueche' served on the faculties of Waldorf College (Iowa) and Arizona State University.
